Maintenance
Scales are like any other device used on a Regular basis; they need
regular preventative maintenance and service. All scales which are used
everyday require servicing at "least once a Year. Its daily use and the
environment in which the scale is should determine the amount of service
needed. We suggest a quarterly service on all scales. It will keep your
products in a better reliable Profit/Loss advantage!
Power tip
In today's world of electronics, the best way to protect your electronic

scale-related products. This can prevent costly unnecessary repairs.
NTEP / Non-NTEP
When purchasing a scale to buy or sell products by the weight, you will
need a NTEP scale, this is the same as legal for trade. When a consumer is
involved or when scales create transactions then NTEP is required. When
purchasing a scale for in-house work or inventory you are not required to
have a NTEP scale, so non-NTEP would be sufficient.
Fact
When you purchase a new electronic scale, you should consider a few things
like an isolated power source for only the scale; this will help prevent
problems down the line. Do you need any forklift stops to help prevent
damages to the scale platform, speed bumps, posts or any other options
available?
